Description

The refractometer is used to measure refractive index (nD) of liquids that are transparent or translucent and solid being the most frequently used to clear liquids. Practical applications of this instrument are very large, being an essential tool in the petroleum, oils and greases, paints, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, chemicals and sugar, as well as Unversity and research and teaching.
ABBE Refractometers are supplied with a test piece for testing and calibration of the device and also feature a bottle of contact monobromo and naphthalene. The eyes of all the teams are dotadosde dioptric correction.
