Description
This model of a newborn female (1.8 kg/40.6 cm) is ideal for study and practice venous access, injections and blood sampling.
Puncture produces artificial blood reflux.
 This model allows access to the veins following:
     * Vena basilica and axillary vein (arms)
     * Saphenous vein (leg)
     * Popliteal vein (leg)
     * External jugular vein (neck)
     * Temporary Vena (head)
     * Vena umbilical (navel)
 Each of the following methods can be practiced:
     * Normal vein puncture
     * Central venous catheterization
     * Umbilical catheterization
     * Placement of a butterfly cannula
     * Dressing
     * The setting of catheters
     * The insertion and care of catheters and endotracheal and feeding tubes endonasal
